A football friendly destination

Thailand is a land of great and amazing beaches and temples. It also has many adventure sports and activities like mountain biking, rafting and trekking along with many water sports as well. It is seen that sport tourism is on the rise and many people from all over the world come to Thailand for football training. Many young men and women come in groups and join various soccer training camps, friendly football games and soccer 7s tournaments as well. It is a good way to relax in Thailand by joining a soccer training camp in the morning and enjoy the lovely beaches in the afternoon after a long and tiring day’s play. It is a great combination of sport and leisure at the same time.

There are people who share a common interest; meet and greet within a team to share and learn from each other’s experience. It is very easy for a team of Hong Kong to play with a European Team in any province of Thailand being locally organised. This is a great way to make new friends and bond together over pool and beer after the game. The international soccer 7s tournaments are held every year in Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya. The other provinces like Chiang Mai and Koh Samui may see more of tourist games in the times to come. This game is played on 2 days during the weekend with a 7 minute halves and a maximum of 12 players.The biggest football stadium in Thailand is Rajamangala National Stadium .
